An Invisible Crown.

A short but sweet, self imaginative story which may inspire every couple in general and every muslim couple in specific in some way or the other.

There was a man who used to have a negative attitude towards his wise wife, use to scold her almost daily, over trivial matters. Not to mention,he was a poor lover too.Days passed but there was no big change in his approach.

One day when he was in good mood, his wife sat beside him placing tea and biscuits(little hearts) on the tea table. After talking over routine talk for few minutes, she smartly drifted the topic and said in a humble tone:O My King! I may not like what you were doing all these days (scolding),but I respect who you are and what you are.You know why? Staring at those little hearts (biscuits) and then in to her eyes, he said:O my sweety! How can I know what is in your heart?

Taking the advantage of the situation she grabbed his hand and gave a gentle kiss and said: I respect you for what you are because who you are tomorrow may be better than who Im today.Surprised at these effective and positive words and realising his mistakes he couldn't speak for few moments.Tears of regret rolled down his cheeks.Raising his hands he said:Indeed Blessed is he who has blessed me with such a nice and wise wife. Then turning to his wife he said with a blushing smile on his face and love strings in his tone: O My Queen! Forgive and Forget all that I have done.Listen my love listen!Though Im not rich but I promise to honour you every day with a new crown( crown of love).Did any king, crowned his queen everyday a new crown?

Hearing to these beautiful and wonderful words she jumped out of joy and said raising her hands:All praise be to the most merciful who has blessed me with such a wealthy and lovely husband who wants to crown me everyday with a new one.Thereafter they lived for years after years with full of love and compassion.

A point to note:A woman can be patient with her husband's poverty, unattractiveness and busy schedule but she cannot be patient with his rude behaviour. No man honors a woman except a honourable one and no one demeans a woman except a mean person~Sheik Muhammad Al-Arifi.

A point of view:True love indeed is an act of faith,be it with creation or the creator, and whoever is of little faith will be of little love ~Hamid

Aww, ma'sha'allah, very sweet, endearing and at its core, a simple but profound story - in that just a few yet sincere, faithful words can alter things and bring such beauty, passion between two people or rather, two lovers, whether between two humans or between a human and His/Her Creator, as you stated at the end.

Jazak'Allahu Khairan bhai / akhi.
