*Following the west in obscenity and liberalism.
*Steady increase in alcoholism.
*Excessive squandering of money on marriages etc
*Mortgaging daughters for money borrowed on interest
*Immoral environment of multinational companies.
*Fearless of god and uncontrolled generation.
*Families shackled in wrong customs and traditions.
*Denial of right of parents and relatives.

Are you aware of these facts?In our country-India

~ A molestation occurs every 26 minutes
~A rape occurs every 52 minutes
~More than 10,000 rapes and 22,000 molestations in a year
~20 lacks women work as prostitutes
~30,000 divorce cases pending in courts in Hyderabad alone
~4950 dowry death in a year
~More than 12,000 women kidnapped in a year
~80,000 persons commit suicide every year
~Various scandals in last few years:Fodder scam,sugar scam,security scam,hawala scam etc ,costing 6468 crores to the nation.

Our society is in the grip of economic problems,declining morality,increasing materialism,vulgarity and obscenity,drugs,show-off,lack of social values,corrupted police & politicians.

WHY THESE CRIMES HAPPENING?
WHY ARE EVILS SPREADING WITH SUCH A SPEED?
ARE WE NOT DISTURBED WITH THE DECAY OF VALUES IN OUR SOCIETY?

The simple answer is this....

"The spread of evil in the society is not just because of the evil deeds of evil people, but also because of the silence of good people"

Qur'an says to its followers:You are the best among mankind because you are raised to benefit others.It is your duty to decree good and prohibit from evils.

Abu sayeed(r) reports that Prophet(pbuh) said:whenever you see evil stop it by force,if it is not possible to do so do it by your tongue,if even this is not possible regard it as bad and this is the lowest stage of faith"-Muslim,Tirmizi.

Abû Hâzim said, “The scholars of our time have been content with speech and with no practise! The Salaf used to practice but not speak. After them the people practised and spoke being followed by a people who spoke but did not practice. There will come a time when people will not speak nor practise.”
