To all those suffering from Sadness or Depression, know that it isn’t your fault… It isn’t because you’re Weak… It isn’t because you’re Ungrateful… It isn’t because you’re not Religious enough… It isn’t because you don’t have enough Faith… It isn’t because Allah is Angry with you…
To all the well-meaning people who tell you this, just smile and know, deep in your heart, that the tests of Allah come in different forms to different people… Take comfort from knowing that, by the help of Allah alone, every Test can become a Tool to get closer to Him…
“Verily, with hardship comes ease” [Quran 94:5] and like all things of this world, this too shall pass…
Maintaining patience in loneliness and sadness is a sign of the strength of intelligence. One who has understanding about Allah he keeps himself aside from the people of this world and those interested in it. He becomes interested in what is with Allah. Allah then gives him comfort in his fear and company when he is lonely. Allah gives him riches in his poverty and honor without the existence of his tribesmen.
No amount of guilt can change the past and no amount of worrying can change the future. Go easy on yourself for the outcome of all affairs is determined by Allah’s Decree. If something is meant to go elsewhere, it will never come on your way, but if it is yours by destiny, from you it cannot flee.— Umar Ibn al-Khattab
We all talk silently to ourselves in our heads, but we are not always conscious of how it’s affecting us we cannot prevent the birds of sorrow from flying over your head, but we can prevent them from building nests in our hair.
Do you know?
The pain that the Prophet(s) felt at the passing of Khadija(r) was so severe, that the only thing that could heal that pain was Allah(swt) calling him above the heavens, near Him, and personally speaking to him. Al-Isrā’ wal-Mi‘rāj happened after the death of Khadija(r). The Prophet(s) had to talk to the Most Beloved in order to get past his worldly beloved. That was the only thing that could slightly dimnish his pain from the death of Khadija(r).
