A Bedouin ran away from his prayer.

A bedouin prayed behind an imaam who was reciting from the Qur’aan:

Did We not destroy the first ones?” [Qur'aan 77:16]

The bedouin happened to be in the first row, and upon hearing that Verse, he moved to a row that was further behind. Then the Imaam recited:

So shall We make later ones to follow them.” [Qur'aan 77:17]

The bedouin then moved to another row. Next, the Imaam recited this Verse:

Thus We will deal with the Mujrimoon (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, etc)!” [Qur'aan 77:18]

The bedouin, whose name happened to be Mujrim, ran away from the congregational prayer saying, “By Allaah, I am his target.

When some other bedouins met him, they said, “What is the matter, O Mujrim?

He said, “Indeed the Imaam destroyed the first ones and the last ones, and he wanted to destroy me as well. By Allaah, I do not want to see him after this day!

@muslim first~Shukran akhee MF.
well the nasheed is all about Quran and its magnificence.I dont know much arabic but i like the nasheed very much.If u want the translation, you need to hire an Arabic translator for it ...or ask your local masjid Imam.He may help you.

@anonymous~Amazing! oh any one who read, re-read it with concentration and with little understanding of Quranic verses, can understand.
The Bedouin thought that the imam is targeting him through his recitation ,because of his poor understanding of Qur'an and its meaning. The recitation was about the previous generations whom Allah destroyed because of their arrogance. As his name being mujrim he thought that the imam is speaking about him as he recited “Thus We will deal with the Mujrimoon[Qur'aan 77:18]

Lessons to be gained:

-Having knowledge of Qur'an
-Having the correct understanding
-Knowing tafseer (commentary)

we need to learn arabic. its urgent.

Hamid said...

@ samsad~ I hope you have understood the incident.Ya we should learn it before we die InshAllah.

Samsad Jahan said...

Yes brother I understood alhamdulillah. If we read randomly from Quran, and without commentary and tafsir, we will make meaning ourself. ultimately we may run from the Quran like the Beduin.

@ samsad~ Lol... i literally laughed and laughed reading the last part of your comment.
