The lovers of God never runs out of patience.

“Whatever happens in your life, no matter how troubling things might seem, do not enter the neighbourhood of despair. Even when all doors remained closed, God will open up a new path only for you. Be thankful! It is easy to be thankful when all is well. A true believer is thankful not only for what he has been given but also for all that he has been denied.”

“Patience does not mean to passively endure. It means to be farsighted enough to trust the end result of a process. What does patience mean? It means to look at the thorn and see the rose, to look at the night and see the dawn. Impatience means to be shortsighted as to not able to see the outcome. The lovers of God never runs out of patience, for they know that time is needed for the crescent moon to become full.”

You Don't Need a Fortune To Be a Fortunate One.

"Someone complained about poverty to a saint. The saint said: “Would you prefer to lose your eyes and to have ten thousand dirhams?” The man replied: “No”. The saint asked, “Your ears, your hands, your feet?”. He answered, “No”. The Saint said: ‘Well, then, you have fifty thousand dirhams’ worth of his goods! Why are you complaining?"

"The Messenger (SAW) said: “Whoever rises in the morning and is in good health, secure and has the day’s food, it is as though he has the whole world.’"

"One day the Messenger (SAW) was looking at the sky. He laughed and said: “I remain astonished at the decree of God Most High with regard to the believer. If he commands a blessing, he is content that it is for his good; and if He commands an affliction, he is content that it is for his good.” That is, he suffers the latter and is grateful for the former because there is always goodness in both. And the Messenger said: “The healthy will wish at the Resurrection that their flesh had been cut away with the talons of a leather currier out of pique for seeing the many high degrees of the afflicted”."

— Al-Ghazzali on Patience and Gratitude
Point to remember:Tolerance and Patience are twins that are produced only  by having a high degree of determination.Patience primarily means not to complain to anyone other than Allah, not to let the heart feel angry with one’s fate and not to let the organs express wrath, sorrow, grief and the like in a forbidden way.

An Everyday Battle.

One evening an old man told his son about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, “Son, the battle is between a thorn and a Rose, inside us all. One is evil - it is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, oppression, hypocrisy, prejudice, guilt, lies, and ego. The other is good-it is joy, peace, love, serenity, honesty, humanity, kindness, faith, compassion, contentment, truth and hope.” The son asked his father. “Dad! Who wins?”  The old man replied, “The one you feed, my dear son”.

Sins Sink our Soul in Sadness.

A punishable sin will cause sadness and depression to the soul of the believer. The believer who sincerely loves Allah (swt) is angered and depressed by the sin he has committed. Feelings of sadness begin to roam the mind, and the believer will lose confidence many times. Feelings of doubt are evoked in the sense that the believer feels that Allah (swt) may not support him at a certain point in time as punishment for what he has rendered. This doubt is not in the sense that he feels Allah (swt) is not merciful enough to forgive him; rather, it is the doubt about what will happen if Allah ever decides to retaliate for what he has done.

Praise's be to Almighty that he didn't created odor for sins . If sins were to have any odor then none of you would be able to sit beside me ~ A strange stranger.

True Chivalry.

Back in an age when marriage lasted a lifetime and divorce was not considered a failure of the marriage, but a failure of the self, a learned sheikh was approached by one of his students.

"Oh teacher, we have noticed how your wife is so abusive of you. She has embarrassed you in public countless number of times and never loses an opportunity to insult you. How come you don't simply take your legitimate right and divorce her?"

After a brief moment of silence and deep thought, the teacher looked up at the student and gently responded."My son, if I were to divorce this woman, one of two things would occur. Either she would remain a single divorcee or she would get remarried. In the first case, she would become miserable and lonely and I do not wish to be the cause of her misery. In the second case, she would cause her new husband untold difficulty and I do not wish to be the cause of his misery. And so I have decided it best to take it upon myself to bear the burden of this misery.

The Price of Piety and Patience.

Ibn rajab and others gave an account of a worshipper who ran out of resources while he was in makkah. He became extremely hungry and was about to die from lack of nourishment. One day,as he was wandering in the streets of Makkah,he found an expensive golden neclace. He put it in to his pocket and headed for the mosque. On his was he came across a man who was announcing that he had lost a necklace. The poor man later said,"I ask to describe it to me, and he did so perfectly, leaving no room for doubt.I gave him the necklace without taking any reward from him.I said:O' Allah,I have given it up for you,so compensate me with what is better."He then went to the ocean and began a journey in a small boat.Only a brief period of time passed before a storm came with heavy winds crashing in tot he boat. The boat smashed in to pieces and the man was forced to cling to a piece of wood. The violent winds propelled him to the left and to the right. Finally,he was washed ashore onto an island. He found there a mosque filled with people who were praying,so he joined them.He found papers with parts of the Qur'an written on them and he began to recite from them. The people of the island asked him, "do you read the Qur'an?" he answered in the affirmaive. They said, "Teach our children the Qur'an."So he began to teach them, and he took a salary for his services. One day, they found him writing and they asked,"Will you teach our children to write?"Again he answered in the affirmative and began teaching them for a salary.
A short time later they said to him,"There is an orphaned girl with us whose father was a good man. Will you marry her?"He agreed to the marriage and later related,"I married her and when I saw her on the wedding night, she was no less beautiful than the maiden of paradise and I found that she was wearing that exact same necklace.I asked her to tell me the story of the necklace. She said that her father lost it in makkah and a man found it and returned it to him.She said that her father would always supplicate while prostrating for her daughter to become blessed with a husband similar to that honest man.I then informed her that I was that man."
He abandoned something for the sake of Allah,so Allah compensated him with something that was better. Thus he followed piety and patience and Allah(swt) made success and happiness follow him.

She Fled To Paradise

Sharing with you all an amazing and beautiful real story which i read in a book recently written by Aminah elahi entitled 'Patience' but in my own weak words.

A pious muslim family hired a non muslim maid who was almost alone in this world. She had no siblings, her parents passed away and she too was left unmarried as she was not mature enough to get married off.The master of the maid was very kind and generous. He alloted a room for her to live peacefully in his big and beautiful house. The little maid was very sweet in appearance, beautiful in her thoughts, sincere in her work and hopeful about her future. She lived and worked for this muslim family happily. As time passed by, her maturity and intellectuality increased and she one day fell in love with Islam.By Allah's grace and also due to the family's preaching she became a beautiful muslima. They taught her all the basics and fundamentals, they taught her about the daily prayers,to recite Qur'an correctly,to fast during ramadan and few supplications too.She kept practising these acts of worship regularly and sincerely apart from her service to the family as a muslim maid.

After few years she grew in to a fine young muslim girl. Her master decided to marry her to a pious man,But Allah(swt) planned something better for her.One day she fell sick and her sickness prolonged without any signs of relief. The family fearing that may be her time of departure from this world is near, they requested her to recite the kalima-e-tayyib.To thier surprise, she stared in to thier eyes with a smile and said 'Should I recite what you are saying or what they are saying? They asked in amazement:"Who are saying and what?" She replied:The angels are reciting to me : (It will be said to the pious): "O (you) the one in (complete) rest and satisfaction!"Come back to your Lord, Well-pleased (yourself) and well-pleasing unto Him!
"Enter you, then, among My honoured slaves,
"And enter you My Paradise!" (Quran 89:27-30)Then she said the kalima-e-tayyib too and closed her eyes and never opened again. That is to say she fled to paradise, leaving them(family members) in an emotional state of joy and sorrow.

I think they may have said to themselves within themselves: Aaah! 'How better it would have been if I was in her place'.

Try-we can,we must..Let's start...

One day the sun was about to set, birds were about to return to thier nest, people were about to return to thier homes, children were about to finish thier play and the blanket of darkness was about to cover the world...before all this could happen the sun raised its voice and enquired in a tone of pride " Is there anyone after me that could light the world"?

A small candle stood up in humility and said in a humble tone: Yes O sun! I will try.
The sun felt ashmed of itself to this answer of a little candle and disappeared behind the mountains.

That little candle started lighting other candles one by one and thus lighted all homes.

So be like a candle, live like it.It burn itself for your sake.
Be humble like the candle, humility is the embroidery of chiefs.
Never look down at other in any way.Every one is unique in thier own way or the other. What you cannot do,others can do it and what others cannot do you can do it.
You can if u try...Stand up like that of that little candle and start doing with what ever you have, wherever you are, whenever you can and to whomever you can.

A Pinch of Patience

Ali bin Abi Talib(r) went to ash'ath to console him upon the death of one of his sons.

He said,"If your sad, then you are deserving mercy, but if you are patient, then Allah gives you something in place of what was lost or destroyed. And know that if you are patient, everything that was destined for you and preordained for you will occur and you will be rewarded. If you complain and are hopeless, then likewise all that was destined for you will occur, except that you will be blamed for your impatience at Allah's will.Indeed the one you lost was not your provider, the one who provides for you is ever living and never dies.Indeed when Allah created the world,he decreed destruction for it,and death for its inhabitants. No experience permates a household except that household then become filled with a lesson and no group gathers among themselves except that they will soon be parted and then it is Allah who will be the one who inherits the earth and all that is on it.Whoever from you is crying(for the deceeds) then let him cry over himself. For the destination of your companion is the destination of all people tomorrow".
