Bad things can never really happen to us.

Abdullah would say Alhamdulillah to everything that would happen to him, whether good or bad. One day, while hunting, the King accidently shot his finger and Abdullah responded with his normal, "Alhamdulillah." This upset the King and he jailed Abdullah to which he again responded "Alhamdulillah." Soon thereafter, the King went out hunting again by himself. He strayed into tribal enemy grounds and was captured. The tribe was about to sacrifice him before they realized that he was missing a finger. Knowing well that, they should not sacrifice an incomplete human being, they released the King. Ecstatic, the King knew that his misfiring the other day saved his life. He went back home and freed Abdullah. Afterwards, he asked Abdullah, “I understand now why the loss of my finger was something worth saying "Alhamdulillah" over, but why did you say it when I jailed you?” Abdullah responded, “Had I been with you that one day instead of in jail, I would have been sacrificed, since I have all of my fingers!"

   

Bad things can never really happen to us. As Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: "The affair of the believer is amazing! The whole of his life is beneficial, and that is only in the case of the believer. When good times come to him, he is thankful and it is good for him, and when bad times befall him, he is patient and it is also good for him."

Allah, subhanahu wa ta'aala, says in the Qur'an “But it may happen that you hate a thing which is good for you, and it may happen that you love a thing which is bad for you. Allah knoweth, ye know not” (The Holy Qur'an, 2:216).

Therefore, Brothers and Sisters, always be optimistic and respond with "Alhamdulillah" and remember that everything happens with you is for GOOD.Wherever you are, whether you're suffering or not, remember, Allah knows.

Mother said: Please hold my hand.
Boy: No mom,you hold my hand.

Boy: If I hold your hand and something happens to me.Chances are that i may let your hand go, but if you hold my hand, I know for sure, you will never let my hand go...

Ash -Sha'bi related that he one day heard Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah say,"The only person who ever defeated me in anything was a young man from the clan of Bani Al-Harith bin Ka'b.


That occurred when I proposed to a woman from Banu Al-Harith.When I did so, a young man from the same clan was seated nearby and heard everything I said.He then approached me and said, 'O leader, she is definitely no good for you!' I said, 'O son of my brother, what is wrong with her? He said, 'I once saw a man kiss her!' I immediately withdrew my proposal, but then I later found out that the very same young man had married her. I went to him and said, 'Did you not tell me that you saw a man kiss her? He said, 'Yes, I once saw her father kiss her!

1) A man looked at his wife as she was climbing stairs and he said , "You are divorced if you climb a single step, divorced if you descend a single step, and divorced if you stand still". She slipped herself from the railing and remained his wife.


2) A man who was an adherent of the majus religion died and left behind a huge debt.Some of his creditors said to his son, "Sell the house and pay off your father's debt." The son said, "If I sell the house and pay off my father's debt, will he enter paradise?" They said, "No". He said, "Then leave him in the hellfire and leave me in the house."


3) Hasan bin sahl asked Dinar bin Abdullah, "What is your religion?" He said, "I never thought that anyone alive would ask this question,for it is the question of Munkar and Nakir to the dead."


4) Hasan bin Ali bin Husain said to his wife, 'Aishah bint Talha, "Your affair is in your hand (i.e if you want divorce,then i grant it) !" She said, "For 20 years it has been in your hand, and you have done well to preserve it.I will not let it be wasted in my hands for even a single hour, and so I have returned the matter to you!"
He was so impressed by her words that he decided to keep her as his wife, and not divorce her.


5) Ali bin Fudail related that he heard his father say to Ibn Mubarak, "You order us to seek little from this world, yet we see you trading in merchandise.Please explain how you reconcile one with the other?" He said, "O Abu Ali,I do so only to protect myself from begging, to be generous to my family, and to use wealth to help me in obedience to my Lord." Ali said, "O Ibn Mubarak, if you achieve all of that, then your way of earning and spending are both noble indeed!"


6) Muhammad Abduh related that a European person asked, "Why do you not eat with a spoon?" He said, "My spoon is my hand and my fingers,whereas I alone use my spoon to eat, no one else being able to use it, and I alone being responsible to wash it, you cannot be sure whether your spoon (that is made of steel) was washed or not, nor do you know if the one who used it before you was healthy or sick."


7) It was said to Umar bin Abdul Aziz, "O leader of the believers, you have much wealth in your hands, but we do not see you owing even those things that your house is in need of".
He said, "A house should not be furnished in the fleeting world; there is an abode to which we have transported our best possessions, and after a short while we are moving there- i.e, the hereafter.


8) It was said to a ruler, "What has made you reach this level? He said, "I forgave when I was able to exact revenge, I was soft even when I was severe, I was just even regarding my own self, and I left enough place in my heart to love and hate so that I could still easily change from one to the other."


9) A man asked Hasan bin Ali (r), " I have a daughter and people have proposed her, so to whom should I marry her? Hes said, "Marry her to one who fears Allah (swt), for if he loves her, he will honor her, and if he hates her, he will not wrong her."


10) Abu Darda (r) said to his wife, "If you see that I'm angry, then appease me; and if I see you are angry, I will appease you-otherwise why should we keep company with one another?" When this saying reached Imam Zuhri, he said, "That is how companionship should be."


11) A Bedouin one day said to his children,"I did good to you not only when you were young or when you grew up, but also before you were born."They said Indeed we know that you have treated us well when we were very young and then we grew up, but how is it that you treated us well before we were born?" He said, "I chose mothers for you that will not disgrace you or discredit you."


12) It is said that a beggar went to a rich man from Khurasan and asked for help.He heard him say to his servant, "O Gold, say to Gem, to say to Jewel ,to say to Sapphire, to say to this beggar that we do not have anything." The beggar raised his hands to the sky and said, "O my Lord, say to Jibril, to say to Israfil ,to say to Mikail, to say to Izrail to take the soul of this miser."

Precious Moments!

At-Tanooki gave the account of a governon in Baghdad who usurped the wealth of an old lady in his province.He took away all of her rights and confiscated her property.She went to him,wept before him,and complained of his opression and wrongdoing.He was neither regretful nor ashamed of what he had done.In a firt of anger,she said, "I will pray against you." He laughed at her in mockery and said, "Then you should pray in the last third of the night." His arrogance had made him sat this to her.She went away, and in accordance with the governor's mock-advice she was steadfast in praying during the last third of the night.Ie was only a matter of days before he was violently removed from office.As a reward for his tyranny,his properties were seized,and he was publicy whipped.After the whipping,the old lady passed by him and said,"You did well! You advice me to pray in the last third of the night and I found the results to be most favourable."

Lesson:The last third of the night is very precious time in our lifes why?During this time Allah,the exalted says: "Is there someone who is asking,and I will give to him.Is there someone who is seking forgiveness,and I will forgive him.Is there someone who is supplicating,and I will answer him."

Moral: How you deal with others is how you will be dealth with.

SILENT Words, SILENT Moments

Abu Hazim said:"Trade of the hereafter is not sought after,and whatever is left of it,is about to finish!As a result,no part of it,minor or major,will remain."

Whenever the light went out in the house of Hisham bin Abu Abdullah,he would turn around in his bed until his wife brought a light for him.So she asked him why he felt anxious when the light went off and he replied,"when the light goes off,I remember the darkness of the grave."

This is why Al-Mu'tasim used to say when he was dying,"If I knew that my life would be this short,I would not have committed what I have committed."
Also,caliph Al-Muntasir said at the time of death,when he was wished well,"All will happen except being well!Life has gone away and the hereafter has come."

Ibn Mas'ud (r) once said:"The believer will not attain comfort untl he meets his mighty creator."

Life is just like a dream that passes as fast as clouds.It is a mere hour of time that soon fades away.It is a journey that has already started and will soon come to an abrupt end. Abdul-Malik Al-Qasim.

Die Rich, If You Were Born Poor.

Do not be sad because you were born black and poor,It's not your mistake nor of your creator's, but It's just a matter of test for you.Do not be proud of yourself because you were born white and rich,It's not your greatness nor of your father's, but It's just a matter of test for you too.The one who is not thankful for a small blessing cannot be thankful even for a mountain of gold... So be thankful for every little thing you have and remember that no two individuals can have three things same i.e Face,Fate & Future-Hamid

A Mother asked her family doctor "why don't women of this generation find enough milk to breast feed thier children?The doctor remained silent for a moment and then said,"Imagine cows in the field that are constantly driven at high speeds,each night,when they return to the baryard,they will not be able to give forth milk,Madame,such is the state of mothers today."
