Might be or May Not be...

O people of faith, know that the wife of a man is his means of serenity, and there is no life worthwhile by contradicting her. So if you wish to marry a woman, then ask about her family, for it is the goodly roots that bear the sweetest fruits. And know that women are extremely different to one another just like the fingers on a hand are different to each other...Al-Khattab ibn al-Mu`alla’ al-Makhzumi (rahimahullah)

1) You might be married to the worst man ever, like A'siyah was married to Pharaoh - but it didn’t change her and her loyalty and love to Allah.

2) You might be married to the best of men, like Prophet of God, and still not enter Heaven - like the wife of Nabi Lu't (a.s).

3) You might be not married to any man, like Maryam (alaiha salam), and Allah can make your rank higher than any women on the Earth.

Know your priorities. Love and trust is with Allah first.

For shy couples: When you can’t express your gratitude and love in words, show it in action.Do not sacrifice the truth for love, money, or fame. When all fall, the truth will stand to help you even after your death.

A Disheartening Trend.

Their are people who use Qur'an and Hadiths as their guidance to facilitate/prove their love/marriage but when once it breaks,  they forget to go with the same source of guidance, rather they use the regional marriage acts and make misuse of it , book them under false dowry cases in the court ,hire police and spy agents to take revenge from the opposite party, pelt them with foul and evil words and do lot of other things to put off their fire of jealousy.

Its really disheartening to hear that many brides and grooms today are embarking the ship of marriage using fortified lies, fradulent promises and mystified deception. These things with passing of time make's big holes in their ship, making it to sink with divorce and depression.

Those who claim themselves as 'Muslim' should also marry according to 'Islamic shariah' only, and if at all in future they want to depart/divorce for some genuine reason, then they may, but not according to their country's law/or own desires (going to court/filing a false case against them) rather according to their creator's. Those who make misuse of someones sincerity, right's, property and honor in the name of democracy/ family status/ position or whatsoever will be taken an apt revenge by the most Powerful and most Supreme in  such a way that nothing comes in to their lot but  ignominy.

Whosoever marry and remarry making use of lies, fraud and deception will reap very bitter fruits of their deeds today or tomorrow and will face evil consequences, for 'LOVE' if not followed with truth and loyalty will ruin one's life and know that Allah Alone created it and
will take care of it only if one drive it (boat of love/life) with the paddles of truth and justice.

Why should I marry her?

Once, there was a very handsome, pious, well educated young man, whose parents compelled him to get married. They had seen so many marriage proposals, and he had turned them all down. The parents thought that, it was becoming a little ridiculous or suspected that he may have someone else in mind.

However every time the parents left the girl's house, the young man would always say:
'she is not the one for me'.

The young man only wanted a girl who was religious and practicing, however one evening his mother arranged for him, to meet a girl, who was religious, and practicing. On that evening, the young man, and girl, were left to talk, and ask each other questions. (As one would expect). The young man, being a gentleman that he was allowed, the lady to ask first.

The young girl asked the young man so many questions, she asked about his life, his education, his friends, his family, his habits, his hobbies, his lifestyle, his enjoyment, his pastime, his experiences, even his shoe size. The young man replied to all of her questions, politely, without tiring, and with a smile. The young girl took up nearly all of the time, over an hour, and felt bad, and asked the young man: "Do you have any questions for me?"

The young man said, "It's ok". I only have 3 questions. The young girl thought, "Wow, only 3 questions okay, shoot". The young man's first question was, "Whom do you love the most ?" She said, "This is an easy question; my mother", she replied and smiled.

Second question, he asked, "You said that you read a lot of Qur'an, could you tell me which surahs you know the meaning of?"

Hearing this she went red and embarrassed and said, I do not know the meaning of any yet, but I am hoping to learn few soon insha'allah. I've just been a bit busy.

The third question the young man asked was, "I have been approached for my hand in marriage, by girls that are more prettier than you, so why should I marry you?"

Hearing this the young girl was outraged, she stormed off to her parents with fury, and said I do not want to marry this man, he is insulting my beauty, and intelligence. And the young man and his parents, were once again, left without an agreement of marriage. This time, the young mans parents were really angry, and said what did you do to anger that girl, the family was so nice, pleasant, and they were religious like you wanted. "What did you ask the girl??" Tell us !

The young man said, "Firstly I asked her, whom do you love the most? she said, her mother."

The parents said "So, what is wrong with that??" The young man said, ''No one, is Muslim, until he loves Allah, and his/her messenger (saw) more than anyone else in the world. If a woman loves Allah and the Prophet (pbuh) more than anyone, she will love me and respect me, and stay faithful to me, because of that love, and fear for Allah (swt), and we can share this love, because this love is greater than lust for beauty".

The young man said, "Then I asked, you read a lot of Qur'an, can you tell me the meaning of any surah? And she said no, because I haven't had time yet. So I thought of that hadith
"The world is accursed - cursed is all that is in it, except for the dhikr of Allah and all that is related to it, or an alim, or a student."It is recorded in al-Jami as-Sagheer. She has lived 20 years by now and didn't had any time, to seek knowledge of Qur'an, How can I marry a woman, who does not know her rights, and responsibilities, and what will she teach my children, except how to be negligent, because the woman is the madrasa (school) and the best of teachers to her children.

"The third question I asked her was, that a lot of girls, more prettier than her, had approached me for marriage, so why should I choose you? Upon this, she stormed off, getting angry". The young man's parents said "That was a horrible thing to ask, why did you do ask that question, we are going back there to apologise". The young man said "I said this for a specific purpose, to test whether she could control her anger or not. The Prophet (saw) said 'do not get angry, do not get angry, do not get angry' when asked how to become pious; because anger is from Satan. If a woman cannot control her anger with a stranger she has just met,do you think she will be able to control it with her husband??".

O Man! Be A MAN.

A man came to Maymoon bin Mahraan – may Allah be please with him – to ask for his daughter’s hand in marriage. Maymoon said, “I do not approve of her for you.” The man asked, “Why?” He replied, “Because she loves jewelry and garments.” To this the man said, “Well I have as much of those as she desires.” Maymoon said, “Now I don’t approve of you for her.” Adh-Dhahabi , Siyar A’laam Al-Nubalaa’ in his biography of Maymoon bin Mahraan.

For dowry, I offer you my sincere affection and for domicile, the most secret corner of my heart.- Abu Muhammad Ibn as-Sid al-Bahalyawsi

The Prophet (PBUH) said:
“The best of the marriages is one which is least burdensome in the financial sense to the families of the bride and the groom”
Dowry is a virus in Marriage and ‘Mahr’ is an antivirus. So install a powerful antivirus and do
not allow the virus to enter and destroy your life.~Iftikhar

Let's kill our envy with the knife of contentment.

Answered by Ustadh Faraz A. Khan

Question: I was interested in a brother for a while but it never worked out. Now this brother is getting married. I know this is ultimately for the best but it’s been very difficult for my heart to accept. I feel envious of the sister he is marrying and keep wishing it were me that was chosen. Is there some dua/adhkar that can help with this? I feel very depressed about my inner state and my reaction to this situation, knowing that Allah is the best of planners. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Answer: Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah,
I pray this finds you in the best of health and spirits.
May Allah reward you for your patience throughout this trial and raise your rank in both this world and the next. I understand the pain you must be going through; this is by no means an easy situation. Having said that, such situations are in reality immense spiritual opportunities by which we can display our true sincerity and trust in Allah Most High.

The Divine Decree

One of the central tenets of our faith is belief in the Divine Decree, as established in many Qur’anic verses and prophetic hadiths. Our Beloved Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) would often stress the importance of conviction in the Divine Decree, both its good and its evil, and according to some narrations, both its sweet and its bitter [Sahih Ibn Hibban].
The nature of this life is tribulation, which can be sweet when testing our gratitude or bitter when testing our patience. Life is not meant to be Paradise, and our outlook therefore is always meant to be directed ahead. “Our abode is in front of us, and our life comes after our death,” said Ibrahim ibn Adham. Even the Messenger himself (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say, “O Allah, there is no life except the life of the hereafter” [Bukhari]. Why is there no life except that of the hereafter? Because true life is one without stress and without the bitter blows of fate, which exists only in Paradise. This life, then, must for sure be bitter at times.
Furthermore, the tests of this life are absolute and fixed, as they were decreed preeternally by Allah Most High. As Imam Tahawi states in his treatise on Islamic creed:
We affirm the existence of the Preserved Tablet, the Pen, and all that has been inscribed in it. If all of creation were to unite in order to eliminate something whose existence had been inscribed in the Tablet based on Allāh’s decree, they would not be able to prevent its existence. Likewise if they were to unite altogether in order to bring into existence that which was inscribed in the Tablet to not exist, they would prove incapable. The [ink of the] Pen has dried with regard to the existence of all that shall exist until the Day of Arising.
Our Beloved Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) highlighted this tenet when he said, “Know that what does not afflict you could never have afflicted you; and what afflicts you would never have missed you.” He then followed the statement with the remedy for afflictions, “And realize that victory is with patience, relief is with stress, and indeed with difficulty comes ease.” [Nawawi's 40 Hadith]

Contentment

Once the believer realizes that he/she has no control or power over the blows of fate, his/her only recourse is to submit to the Divine Decree and strive to actualize a state of total contentment. This is the very essence of our religion, itself named Islam or “submission.” From the Prophetic supplications in this regard is the statement, “I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet” (peace and blessings be upon him). Our Prophet guaranteed that whoever says this is promised Paradise [Abu Dawud].

رَضِيْتُ بِاللهِ رَبّاً وَبِالإِسْلامِ دِيْناً وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَسُوْلاً

One of the most potent means by which one can realize true contentment is sincere supplication (du`a). It is narrated that Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say, “O Allah, make me content with what you have provided me, send blessings for me therein, and replace for me every absent thing with something good/better” [Bukhari/Adab al-Mufrad].

If one holds fast to sincere supplication for something, one should rejoice since the supplication itself is one of the strongest indicators that Allah Most High wants to give that person that thing. One’s asking for contentment is a sign that Allah wants to bestow contentment on that person.
Also, even from a purely worldly perspective, contentment is the greatest remedy for stress, as it is entails an enormous relief. For this reason, our Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Hold fast to contentment, for indeed it is wealth that never ends” [Tabarani/Awsat]. People under stress will pay enormous amounts of money to alleviate their pain, whether through pharmaceutical drugs, psychiatric therapy or the like, yet a believer that is content with Allah’s decree finds a greater relief without spending anything - a treasure indeed.
Contentment, then, is the source of true enrichment and honor; it is the way of relaxation and relief in a world designed to disappoint us, so that our true repose is only with the Creator of that world. Contentment is a trait of those who are truly intelligent and chivalrous; it transforms the bitter blows of fate into breezes of Paradise. It is indeed, as one early Imam put it, “a king that resides not except in the heart of a believer.” [Risala Qushayriyya]
From an otherworldly perspective, the fruits of contentment are of course much greater. We cannot fathom the reward that awaits a person of contentment in the next life; it is sufficient for us to know that if we are pleased with Allah, then Allah will be pleased with us.

Divine Wisdom and Good Opinion

Also, one should always remember that nothing exists except that it reflects Allah’s infinite wisdom, for He has called Himself “The All-Wise” (Al-Hakim). There is always the big picture, a larger context that we are unable to perceive with our short-sightedness. Allah Most High is fully aware of how things unfold in the long run, and we must place our trust in Him, fully realizing that there is wisdom in His decisions.
In this regard, our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) advised us to maintain a good opinion of our Lord, for He Most High states, “I am in the opinion of My servant” [Bukhari]. If we are convinced that Allah is looking out for our best interests when He decrees painful situations, and that He will replace what is lost with something much better for us in both this life and the next, then that is exactly how we will find Him, without a doubt.

A Reflection on the Year of Sadness

On a closing note, one can reflect on the Year of Sadness (`Aam al-Huzn) in the life of our Beloved Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and find many lessons therein to help one in one’s own trials. I would just like to mention one aspect that will insha’Allah be a comfort for us in our times of difficulty.
This year was the most difficult year in the Prophet’s life (peace and blessings be upon him); in it, he lost his beloved wife Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) and his beloved uncle Abu Talib, and he was rejected by the people of Ta’if and violently driven out of their town, all the while being stoned by their children. Yet despite these severe trials, he turned to his Lord and sought only His good pleasure. The very next major event in his life was the blessed Night Journey and Heavenly Ascent (al-isra’ wal-mi`raj), arguably the greatest spiritual experience he had in his blessed life (peace and blessings be upon him). One can appreciate, then, that if we patiently endure our difficulties with contentment in the Divine and seeking His good pleasure, then He will replace those difficulties with our own spiritual “ascents.” This is the secret of tribulation - in it lies the greatest of opportunities for proximity to the Divine, insha’Allah. And Allah alone gives success.

You talk to me First.

Once a husband and a wife had a very big argument. It so happened that they were angry at each other and made a very grave mistake. The argument was a really big one that they got so annoyed with each other that the man without thinking said "I swear by Allah that I will never talk 2 u until u talk to me first." Soon after, the wife because of her anger said to her husband "I, too, swear by Allah that I will not talk to you unless u talk to me first" This was an oath they both made. At first they didn't realize the mistake they made but after a few days they became very lonely.

However an oath is an oath and they cant do anything about it (by the way we should know that three days should not pass with enmity). Meanwhile they went to pious leaders to ask for a solution to their problem. But no matter how many people they asked no one could solve it. this happened at the time of Imam Abu Hanifa, so they finally went to him. They thought it was useless as no one could solve the problem. But surprisingly he didn't find it difficult, in fact he solved it in a few seconds.

Can you figure out the solution?

Answer: The husband said that he would not speak to his wife until she speaks to him. The wife then said that she would not speak to him until he speaks to her. However, when she made her comment, she spoke to him. Therefore, the husband was now free to speak to her.

Guard your Gaze.

This inspirational story was originally translated from Arabic to English by brother Mohsin khan and I'm posting it here for my readers with slight modifications.

A story of a young man from Morocco, who was very poor, 25 years old went to America for job and became a Millionaire overnight. Did he gamble or something?
No, he didn’t. What happened then? SubhanAllah, one day he was in an elevator in one of the sky scrapers, And Allah destined that the elevators have many people in it.They started to go off one by one till it was only him in the elevator with a very beautiful American Girl for many floots. The young kept staring at the floor of the elevator. SubhanAllah. It was him and her alone but he didn't look at her even once. The girl was afraid of  assault that she might get, but he didn't even look at her, and she was watching his moves and how he didn't look towards her, and she was confused and amazed.

Now the floor where the young man was supposed to get off at, came and he got off. she went after him and stopped him, She asked him,"Am i not beautiful?" he said, " I don't know!! I haven't looked at you.""She said, "Why? Why didn't you look at me?! Am i not beautiful??" He said, My religion forbids me from that." SubhanAllah. She asked him, "Why didn't you try assult me? By a kiss or even Rape me? May Allah save us all. He said "No, I seek refuge with Allah, I fear Allah", She asked, "Where is Allah that you fear this much? Then he started telling her few words about Islam. She said,"your religion, which forbids you from even looking at me, can never let you commit an action that might include any color of Harm". He said, Yes and made it clear for her, she then asked "would you accept to marry me"? He said,"Iam a Muslim, whats your religion. She said, "I am not a Muslim. He said," it’s not allowed. She said, Then I shall enter to your religion, will you marry me then."? He said, Yes. She said, What shall I do ?" He said, "Do so and so". Allah made him a reason for her to enter into Islam, only by lowering his Gaze. She married him and gave him all of her wealth that she had inherited  from her parents.

And so Allah said the truth in the Quran: "And for those who fear Allah, he (Allah) prepares a way out for him, and he provides for him from ( sources), he never could imagine...
(Qur'an3 65:2-3)

O Allah! Guide us and our eyes too, to see what is permissible so that our hearts taste the sweetness of faith.

Marriage: A Mighty Test.

Yahya ibn Yayha an Naysaboori said:

I was with Sufyan ibn ‘Uyaynah when a man approached him and said: “O Abu Muhammad, I came to complain to you about my wife, I am the most lowly and disliked of things to her.”
Sufyan remained silent for a while and then said: “It may be that you were only interested in her to increase yourself in honor.” The man said: “Yes, O Abu Muhammad.”

Sufyan said: “Whoever seeks honor [by marrying a woman] will be tested with lowliness, and whoever seeks wealth [by marrying a woman] will be tested with poverty, but whoever looks for righteousness [in a woman], then Allah would combine both honor and wealth with righteousness for him in her.”

He then told him a story, he said: “We were four brothers; Muhammad, Imran, Ibraheem and me. Muhammad was the oldest, Imran was the youngest and I was in between. When Muhammad wanted to get married, he was interested in lineage, so he married a woman of better lineage than him, so Allah tested him with lowliness. ‘Imran was interested in wealth, so he married a woman who was wealthier than him, so Allah tested him with poverty. They took his wealth and didn’t give him anything.

So I pondered over their affair. Ma’mar ibn Rashid traveled to us so I spoke to him about the affair and told him of their story. He reminded me of the Ahadeeth that ‘A-isha and Yahya ibn Ja’dah narrated.

As for Ja’dah’s Hadeeth; the Prophet - صلى الله عليه وسلم - said: “A woman is married for four reasons: righteousness, lineage, wealth and beauty. Marry the one with righteousness and you will be successful.”

‘A-isha’s Hadeeth is as follows; the Prophet - صلى الله عليه وسلم – said:
“The woman with the greatest blessing is the one with the least Mahr [dowry]”

So I chose righteousness and a small dowry, following the Sunnah of the Messenger - صلى الله عليه وسلم – so Allah combined honor, wealth and righteousness for me [in my wife].”

Al Hafidh al Mizzi states in Tahdeeb al Kamaal: 11/194

The one who marry someone just because of money is a miser, the one who marry someone just because of status is proud. The one who marry someone just because of beauty is a fool. The only one who marry someone just because of piety is wise & nice.~Hamid

A Pious Student.

The following incident quoted by Maulana Siddique Ahmed Saheb, illustrates how a student of Deen rectified his evil thoughts.

It is been narrated that a student was studying in the city of Delhi. This student lived in a masjid. In that locality, a young lady was on her way to visit some of her relatives when, incidentally, a riot broke out. The young lady could not find any place of refuge except this masjid. The night had already set in. When the student saw this young lady he excused himself and ordered her to leave the masjid. He told her: "It is not appropriate for you to remain here because if the local people see you here then this will be a cause for my disgrace. They will remove me from the masjid and this will cause harm to my studies.

The young lady explaining her condition said: "A riot has broken out in the locality and if I leave the masjid I fear that I would be dishonoured." The student kept quiet and asked her to sit in one corner. Thereafter the student returned to his room and engaged himself in studying the whole night. While studying he continuously placed his finger tip on the flame of his lamp. The young lady carefully observed this. At the break of dawn the student told the young lady: "The riot has subsided and the road is safe. Let me take you to your home."

The young lady said: "I will not return home until you reveal to me the secret for repeatedly placing your finger tip on the flame of your lamp." The student said: "You should not concern yourself with that." Nevertheless, the young lady persisted with her request. The student finally said: "Shaytaan repeatedly whispered into my heart and encouraged me to do evil with you. Hence I placed my finger tip on the flame and addressed myself thus: When you cannot bear the heat of the fire of this world then how will you ever bear the painful fire of Jahannum. Allah, through His Grace, protected me." Hearing this the young lady returned to her home.

She was the daughter of a wealthy person and she was about to be engaged to the son of another wealthy person. After this incident she refused the proposal and said: "I desire to marry a certain student who lives in such and such a masjid." Her parents and relatives tried to convince her and many began entertaining bad thoughts about her. When she observed this she explained to them the whole incident and said: "I will only marry him because he has the fear of Allah in his heart and whoever fears Allah cannot cause harm to anyone." Finally, she was married to that student and he became very wealthy.

Remedy For Rejection.

All divine decrees will come to pass, both upon the one who accepts them and upon the one who rejects them. The difference is that the former will find a huge reward and happiness while the latter will find sins, sorrow and misery.A person who goes through trials should take steps to remedy his situations or else hopelessness takes control of him.Contemplating the patience of those who were tested in the past is a means of strengthening one's determination.

Some things are beyond planning. And life doesn't always turn out as planned. You don't plan for a broken heart. You don't plan for an autistic child. You don't plan for spinsterhood. You don't plan to be sad.You don't plan to be hurt. You don't plan to be broke. You don't plan to be betrayed. You don't plan to be shattered.

Sometimes if you work hard enough, you can get what you want. But most times, what you want and what you get are two different things. We, mortals, plan. But so does Allah in the heavens.Sometimes, it is difficult to understand Allah's plans especially when His plans are not in consonance with ours.Often, when He sends us crisis, we turn to Him in anger. True, we cannot choose what Allah wishes us to carry, but we can carry it with courage, knowing that He will never abandon us nor send something we cannot cope with.

When the result doesn't match our expectation, we call it a failure.A child starting his baby steps to walk ,falls after every other step. The child is not able to walk even two steps.would you call the child a failure? It's nature's way of preparing the child to walk. One day the child is thus prevented from all future falls.

Dr Samuel Johnson said:The habit of looking on the right side in every circumstances is more valuable than  having a large income.

Stop to reflect:Do not get sad, for Allah(swt) defends his true believes and the angels in heaven ask for forgiveness for you, the believers share with you their supplications in every prayer. The prophet (saw) will intercede for the believers, the Qur'an is replete with true promises and above all is the mercy of he who is the Most Merciful.

A strong believer has a firm belief that nothing can happen to him except that Allah (swt) has decreed for him.You should beat the hardships of life with a powerful punch of patience and balm the pains of life with a pinch of Positive attitude. You need to squeeze your skills to get some fresh and juicy ideas/ words/ thoughts to remedy the pain of rejection, the pain of losing someone, the pain of illness and so on and so forth.

A Divine DoseBut perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.” (2:216)

When the People of Ta'if (a city of Arabia) rejected the message and pelted at him stones, the Prophet (pbuh) made, what is considered, as his most beautiful dua’a to Allah, a dua’a of complete sincerity, grace abounding, noble eloquence and utter humility before his Lord. Here are his words, read them slowly, for in them you will find the complete truth and beauty of Islam, in them you will find the true state of man to his Lord, in them you will find your Lord, and in them you will find the best of all people, the Messenger of Allah (saw).

Dua’a at-Ta’if

“O Allah! Unto You do I complain of my weakness, of my helplessness and of my lowliness before men.  O most Merciful of the merciful. O Lord of the weak and my Lord too. Into whose hands have you entrusted me?  Unto some far off stranger who receives me with hostility? Or unto a foe whom you have empowered against me? I care not, so long as You are not angry with me.  But Your favouring help, that were for me the broader way and the wider scope.  I take refuge in the light of Your countenance whereby all darknesses are illuminated and all things of this world and the next are rightly ordered, lest You make descend Your anger upon me or lest Your wrath beset me. Yet it is Yours to reproach until You are well pleased. There is no power and no might except through Thee.”

To Sum Up: When someone rejects you in any aspect of life, do not get disheartened, rather rejoice within yourself saying to yourself Allahukaber! Worst could have happened, Alhumdulillah! It didn't happened. My Creator plan's are, indeed better than those of his  best of creations (human beings). Its better to get rejected at first place than to get divorced later (in every aspect of life). What have I lost? Nothing! What belongs to me after all that i may loose.

A Note : Let  the people see your heart (through your actions and reactions) and say to themselves within themselves Oh! The peace and ease I'm searching for is in the life of this man/woman.Wonder! where he/she got it from?

Nothing is wrong with this marriage.

There was a beautiful woman, who wanted to get married, but she wanted a very pious husband, so she said that she’ll marry the man who recites the whole Quran every single day, fasts for the whole year and stays awake and worships Allah all throughout the night.
She was a very beautiful woman, and a lot of suitors wanted to marry her, but they knew they couldn’t fulfil the conditions she set. Until this one man stepped forward and said he could fulfil them. So the Imam got both of them married.

After the first night of the marriage, the wife sees that the husband doesn’t recite the whole of the Qur'an, nor does he fast, nor does he stay awake in the worship of Allah, she decided to let it roll on for a few weeks to see if there were any changes, there weren’t, so she filed a complaint and asked for a divorce.

They are both taken in front of the judge, and the judge asked, ‘What were the conditions of the marriage?’ the man replied ‘They were for me to recite the whole Quran daily, keep fast for the whole year and to worship Allah all throughout the night.’
The Judge asked, ‘ did you fulfil them? The man calmly answered, ‘…yes.’
The judge answers, ‘you lie, your wife has said that you don’t, that’s why she’s asking for a divorce’.But the man insisted that he had fulfilled the conditions, so the judge asked, ‘did you recite the full Quran everyday?’ The man answered yes. The Judge, baffled and asked, ‘how? How can you do that?’ The man coolly answered, ‘I recite Surah Ikhlas three times a day and according to Prophet Muhammad (saw), reciting Surah Ikhlas three times is equivalent to reciting the whole Quran.’ The Judge was intrigued, so he asked, ‘how did you fast the whole year?’ The man answered, ‘ I fasted for the whole month of Ramadan, then kept another six fasts in the month of Shawwal, according to Prophet Muhammad (saw), keeping all of the fast of Ramadan then keeping six fasts in the month of Shawwal, is as if you have fasted for the whole year.’The Judge remained silent, he couldn’t give a reply saying the man was wrong, so finally he asked, ‘ how did you stay awake all night and worship Allah, when your wife saw you sleeping?’ The Judge thought the man wouldn’t be able to answer this one, but the man, cool as a cucumber answered, ‘I prayed Salatul Isha with jamaat, then the next day prayed Salatul Fajr with jamaat, according to Prophet Muhammad (saw), the one who prays Salatul Isha and Salatul Fajr with jamaat, it is as if he had stayed up all night worshipping Allah.’

The Judge sat there looking at the man; the final verdict was about to be released…
He said to the man and his wife, ‘…go, just go, there is nothing wrong with this marriage’.

The Best Girl.

She is a visible form of love, a marvelous sign of creation and a splendid being of beauty. She is the tallest when she stands, prominent when she sits and the  most truthful when she speaks. She is the one whose anger subsides quickly, who appeases her husband if he is angry and whose laugh is a beautiful smile.

She is rich by her good manners, noble because of her religion and beautiful because of love she gives and receives. She obeys her husband and adheres to her home (goes out only if required or necessary).

She is honored among her people, yet insignificant in her own mind. She is  fertile and fragrant  to her husband, affectionate and passionate towards her children, and  kind and generous towards her subordinates. When she does anything, she does it well. Moreover her faith is unshakeable, honor is unchallengeable, and undeniable are her services.

In short: She is gorgeous but untouchable, precious but unplayable, fragile but unbreakable and simple but unforgettable .

Exclusive example: The best girls are like dates on the trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The boys don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the simple ones from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. So the dates (girls) at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right boy to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.

Awesome analogy: For a fruit to be sweet, it's seed must be good, for the seed to be good it's provison must be  lawful and for the seed to be sown, it's field must be fertile ~ Hamid.

The Happiest Muslim Woman.

With your beauty, you are better than the sun; with your morals you are more sublime than musk; with your modesty you are nobler than the full moon; with your compassion you a more beneficial than rain. So, preserve your beauty with faith, your tranquility with contentment, your chastity with hijab.

Remember that your adornment is not gold, silver or diamond, rather, it is two rak'ahs at Fajr going thirsty when you fast for Allah, concealed charity which no one knows except Him, hot tears that wash away sin, a lengthy prostration born of utter submission to Allah, shyness before Allah when the inclination to do evil overwhelms you.

Clothe yourself with the garments of taqwa (piety) for you are the most beautiful woman in the world, even if your clothes are shabby. Clothe yourself with cloak of modesty, for you are the most beautiful woman in the world even if you are barefoot.

Beware of the life bewitching immoral disbelieving women, for they are the fuel of the fire of Hell.

O' sincere Muslim, O' believing woman who constantly turns to Allah, the Exalted, be like the palm tree and rise above evil and harm; if a stone is thrown at the palm tree, it lets its fruit drop (and does not retaliate). It remains green summer and winter, and gives many benefits. Do not lower yourself to the level of trivial matters, and rise above all that may damage your modesty and honour.

A man had an argument with his wife and said, "I am going to make your life miserable." The wife calmly replied, "You cannot do that." He said, "Why not?" She said: "If happiness were to be found in money or jewellery, you could deprive me of it and take it away from me, but it is nothing over which you or any other person has control. I find happiness in my faith, and my faith is in my heart, and no one has power over it except my Lord."

The One Who created happiness is the Most Gracious, Most Merciful, so how can you seek happiness from anyone other than Him? If people had control over happiness, there would be no deprived or grieving person left on earth.
